MuonLab S.r.l. is an innovative startup and a joint spin-off of INFN and the University of Florence (UNIFI), specializing in advanced technologies for non-invasive investigations based on muographic imaging techniques.
We provide comprehensive muography services, including feasibility studies, planning of measurement campaigns, installation and operation of muon detectors at the client’s site, 2D and 3D densitometric analyses using patented algorithms and proprietary software, as well as technical interpretation and reporting of the results.

TECHNOLOGY
Muography is a technique similar to X-ray radiography, but employs atmospheric muons to image large natural or artificial structures without the need for drilling.
Traditional techniques (georadar, seismic tomography, geoelectrical surveys, or drilling) are more expensive, invasive, and often less effective in high-density or difficult-to-access environments.
